I want to unlock a device

Problem

My scanner is "locked" and I cannot access my device settings for instance to change the WiFi network. 

Solution

To do this exit the MobiControl lockdown, From the “Start Mobile WMS” screen do the following:

for Android: “long press” the back button or if you are using remote control hit the "page-up" key and click administrator, and select administrator use the code “192837”

For Windows: click the menu button and select administrator use the code “192837”

If there is any issues with using the code you can then use the "Enter Admin Mode" command in MobiControl.

You can find it by clicking on the three dots after having selected the device in MobiControl and then search for "Enter Admin Mode":


To get Back in User Mode, simply “long press” the back button in the MobiControl app and choose "User Mode" in the menu or alternatively reboot the device.
