MobiControl

Introduction

MobiControl is the Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution that is used to manage the customer's devices, which includes:

Configuring the device by pushing out new configuration files to the device
Updating the Mobile WMS app to another version for a customer
Pushing out custom apps to the customer's devices
Remote Controlling the devices to help a customer in any given situation
Moving one or more devices between folders to repoint the devices between environments, i.e. from Test to Production or vice versa.

MobiControl ensures that the configuration (files and apps) installed on each device in a given folder is the same, removing the need for manual actions like file copying.

Once the customer's devices are enrolled into MobiConrtrol, we can push out apps and configuration from the MDM to the devices.

The cloud installation is managed by Tasklet, reducing the overhead for each customer as operations and maintenance are included and handled by Tasklet.
