From this first menu tab, you can create a new page.

Remark:

Changes on the page creator does not directly affect the behavior on the mobile devices. The XML has to be copied to the device. Typically this is done by Tasklet Factory in order to ensure version control and roll back options.

Description of Fields

Name of the page.
Page type.
On the page tab, you can specify the filter if necessary. You can select between filters already in use or newly created filters from the "Dyna Filter" menu. Read more about it here: Filters
Resource name, this is the upper left corner icon used on the page.
Title, just name the title of the page.

Page Type (#2)

You select the type of page you want. There are three types:

Lookup
Order list or Order lines
Unplanned item registration

These types are key to the functions you can use on the page. We have made some templates that can guide you to the correct choice of page. The templates can be found here: Page Templates

Another great way to get a head start is to click Generate Page from Documents, and then you select the page you want to make a copy of and start changing it to your requirement.

Filters (#3)

In standard Mobile WMS you can choose from two filters, namely the Receive Orders and the Pick Orders.

Should you need another filter, then your customization will be available as a choice in the filters list.

Icon (#4)

See below image in the top left corner we have an icon. The icon is specified as the "Ressource name".

If you need to change the icon on the main menu, you can do that by navigating to Custom Menu Items from AX/FO or if you have a new class you want use on the mobile device, you can also specify it here.

Selecting an icon to be displayed by using the drop down list (ressource names). The list is based on the out of the box included icons, but custom made icons will also be selectable here.

Generate Page from Documents

When you have selected one of the below choices you copy the setup and can make changes to it from the different tabs.
