Translations

Available in Mobile WMS for Dynamics AX/365FO version 3.15


The Translations screen gives the user the option to change any text on any screen on the device. And you can do it for every language the customer uses on the device.


If a user wants to change a text on the device in multiple languages, but only knows one language, an AI-assisted function can suggest how the new text should be translated to the other languages needed.

How to use translations?

In the example below we will make a translation to showcase how it works.

  1. Translate a header test.
  2. Make translations per language.


1. Translate a header text

If you don't know the page you are looking for, then just open the page on the mobile device and successively navigate to Mobile WMS/Inquiries/Document Queue and you will find the name of the page.


Navigate to Mobile WMS/Setup/Pages and find the page.


Now you click configurations.


The steps are as shown below, click title, click create new label, enter label new label ID and text. (If the animation on below image has stopped then just click on the image to start it again.)


The new label is available to be selected.


Next time you login on the mobile device your menu has change the label.


2. Make Translations Per Language

When creating new translations you can use suggestion from an AI, that uses the original translation and uses the description from the original label as a guide to find a suitable label.
