Troubleshooting FAQ
If you are experiencing problems, please review the following common problems/suggestions to see if they can help.
Problems enrolling devices
See: Network Requirements for MobiControl - Support Knowledge Base - Confluence (atlassian.net)
If you have trouble enrolling devices, the firewall may not have opened yet.
You can enroll the scanners using a mobile phone. Share the phone's internet connection and connect the scanner to the phone.
Problems logging in:
If you are using Android, NTLM must be enabled on the service tier.
Before trying anything else, try;
using the browser on the scanner to browse the endpoint URL the WMS application is configured to use.
To do this, exit the MobiControl lockdown (This is how to exit the Mobicontrol lockdown) open a browser on the scanner and enter the endpoint (SOAP) URL. This must result in a login prompt from the NAV/BC server.
If you are using a server name in the soap URL (i.e.
https://mynavserver:5588) then DNS name resolution from Wi-FI to NAV/BC server network must be working. If not, you can try substituting the server name with the IP address of the server
Verify that the user is created in NAV/BC both as a Mobile User and that the user is added to a Mobile Group. See the installation guide on
https://university.taskletfactory.com for help on how to do this.
If you have verified the credentials, try and remote control the device and copy & paste the information
