Restore printer to factory default settings

Printer models

ZD-series

Holding down the button for two seconds will load defaults but keep the network setup.

ZQ-series

To reset a Mobile printer, you need to send a file containing the reset commands to the printer.

You can download the file using this link:

Then, either use the send file option in the Zebra Printer utilities app or connect the printer to a PC and send the file using Zebra Setup Utilities.

In both cases, once you have navigated to these windows, you have to select the file Mobile Printer Default and send it to the printer. It will then reset and be cleared of any configuration.

To use the printer again you will have to reconnect the printer to the network after the reset.
