Search Setup
Available in Mobile WMS for Dynamics AX/365FO version 3.15 or newer.
The new adaptive search function gives users the ability to add search on any field in the headers on every page on the mobile device, and indicate which data to search from.
As an example we have a look at the page "Location Content". Below image shows how the filter looks like. If you would like to search among locations this is not possible, just yet.
Navigate in D365FO to Mobile WMS/Setup/Configurations/Search Setup and click new.
Here we want to add search to the location content. We find it in the list and add the table name. See below image.
Now after the search has been added we just have to login again to see the effekt. On below image you can see there have been added a search icon to the right. When clicked we open up a search.
After a location has been found we click the record one or two times, depending on if the record was in focus or not. Then the location is automatically being used in the lookup.
