Unplanned Count

The Mobile WMS application allows you to perform count of a single location in Dynamics AX/365FO.

• This feature will update the quantity in Dynamics AX/365FO immediately after posting.
• This feature can be used without creating a counting journal in Dynamics AX/365FO on beforehand. 
• During posting a counting journal with one line is created and posted.

You select the warehouse and item number to perform the registration on.

Work process

The mobile device contacts Dynamics AX/365FO to determine the configuration of the item (storage and tracking dimensions). Based on this configuration the mobile device asks you for these required dimensions.

The on-hand quantity in Dynamics AX/365FO is now updated.

The journals posted from the mobile device can be found as posted counting journals with the description ”Journal from Mobile WMS”.

From Dynamics AX/365FO you can find the journal that has been posted.
