Problem

My device isn't connecting to MobiControl despite being connected to a network.

Solution

  1. Unlock the device: I want to unlock a device
  2. Make sure the device has internet access, for example, it can browse a web page.
  3. Open the SOTI MobiControl app
  4. Check the Agent Status. It should be 'Connected', but since you are reading this article, it might be 'Disconnected'.



  5. If the status is 'Disconnected', tap once on the Agent Status. The status should change to 'Connected', which means the device has successfully reconnected.

    If the device is stuck on 'Connecting' please verify the network prerequisites:

  • No labels
