    Description

    Look up License Plates. View and Move License Plate Contents. Edit and Delete License Plates.

    This functionality requires License Plating and physical containers like pallets or boxes where you organize multiple items.

    Functionality

    • Lookup License Plate

      • View the Bin

      • View the License Plate Contents

    • Unplanned Move

      • Move License Plate to another Bin/License Plate

      • Move License Plate Contents to another Bin/License Plate

    • Edit License Plate

      • Edit the comment

    • Delete License Plate

      • Delete the License Plate definition and transfer any contents to the parent Bin/License Plate

    Overview

    Step 1 - Scan License Plate or Bin

    To look up license plate(s), either:

    • Scan a License Plate
      or

    • Scan a Bin

    Note: Scanning a Bin displays all the License Plates currently stored in the Bin

     

     

    Step 2 - Select License Plate

    To view the contents, either:

    • Tap the license plate element directly
      or

    • Tap the “Contents” action

     

     

     

    Step 3 - View contents

    You can now view the contents of the selected License Plate.

     

     

    Move License Plate

     

     

    Step 1 - Scan License Plate or Bin

     

    You must identify the License Plate you are moving.

    • To perform a Lookup, either:

      • Scan a License Plate
        or

      • Scan a Bin

     

     

    Step 2 - Select From-License Plate

    If you scan a Bin and multiple License Plates are found, you must select the one you want to move:

    1. Select the License Plate you want to move

    2. Tap the “Unplanned Move” -action

     

     

     

    Step 3 - Scan the To-Bin/License Plate

    Scan the destination where you are moving the License Plate to:

    • Scan a Bin
      or

    • Scan a License Plate

     

    Step 4 - Physically place the License Plate

    The License Plate was successfully moved into another License Plate.

    You must now physically place the License Plate where it belongs

     

     

    Move License Plate Contents to Bin/License Plate

     

     

    Step 1 - Scan License Plate or Bin

     

    1. You must identify the License Plate you are moving from:

      • To perform a Lookup, either:

        • Scan a License Plate
          or

        • Scan a Bin

     

     

    Step 2 - Select Contents action

    • Tap “Contents”-action

     

     

     

    Step 3 - Select Item/Contents to move

    You are now seeing the contents.

    Navigate further into Contents until you find the item or License Plate to move.

    We are moving a single item.

    1. Tap the content element you want to move

    2. Tap the “Unplanned Move” -action

     

     

    Step 4 - Scan From-License Plate

    • Validate the License Plate you are moving from by scanning or tapping the value.

     

    Step 5 - Scan or Enter the Quantity

    • Scan or Enter the quantity you are moving

     

    Step 6 - Scan the To-Bin/License Plate

    You can move the item directly into a Bin or to another License Plate:

    • Scan a Bin
      or

    • Scan a License Plate

     

     

    Step 7 - Physically place the License Plate

    The item was successfully moved into a Bin.

    You must now physically place the item where it belongs

     

     

    Edit License Plate

    Steps in the video:

    1. Select “License Plate” from the main menu

    2. Scan a License Plate

    3. Select “Edit License Plate”-action

    4. Input a comment for this License Plate

     

    Step 1 - Scan License Plate or Bin

    Lookup a License Plate by either:

    • Scan a License Plate
      or

    • Scan a Bin

     

     

    Step 2 - Edit License Plate

    Select “Edit License Plate”-action from the Menu

     

    Step 3 - Enter a comment

    • Enter a comment for this License Plate

    • Select the green checkmark

     

    Step 4 - View comment

    The comment is now visible.

     

     

    Delete License Plate

    Steps in the video:

    1. Select “License Plate” from the main menu

    2. Scan a Bin or License Plate

    3. Select “Delete License Plate”-action

    4. Confirm the deletion

     

     

     

    Step 1 - Scan License Plate or Bin

    To Lookup a License Plate, either:

    • Scan a License Plate
      or

    • Scan a Bin

     

    Step 2 - Confirm deletion

    The deletion needs to be confirmed

    • Confirm the deletion

     

    The License Plate has been deleted so the search now returns no results.
