Description

Putting away received License Plates into Bins.

This functionality requires License Plating and physical containers like pallets or boxes where you organize multiple items.

Feature Video

The “Put Away License Plate” function puts received License Plates into Bins.

The key difference from the regular Putting away flow is:

No order line registrations are needed
All that is needed is scanning the License Plate label created during Receiving License Plates

Steps in the video:

Select “Put Away License Plate” function, open an order
Inspect the contents (optional)
Scan the Bin, where the License Plate is placed
Post the order

Step 1 - Select a License Plate from Put Away License Plate function

Main Menu

The “Put Away License Plate" function is accessed from the main menu.

Note This flow focuses on putting away license plates.
Please see the “regular”Putting awayfor full details on mobile filtering options, Business Central flow and supported documents for that feature.

License Plates ready to be Put-away

You can select from a list of all the License Plates ready to be Put-away.

Select a License Plate by scanning a License Plate Label
The label was created and placed on the license plate during Receiving License Plate

Tip: You should use the scanning function whenever possible.

Inspect the contents (optional)

The items the License Plate contains

Select “Contents” action to inspect the item contents of the license plate

Step 2 - Scan the Bin, where the License Plate is placed

Scan the Bin where you place the license plate
Physically place the item in the License Plate

Suggested To Bin

The suggested “Scan To Bin” is based on the first matching put-away line on the put-away document.

Warehouse Class Code

If you mix Items with different Warehouse Class Codes on the same License Plate, you will get an error when posting the put-away. You must ensure that Items with different requirements based on the Warehouse Class Code are separated on multiple License Plates in the receiving process.
