    Description

    Unplanned Move Advanced are the alternative to Planned Movements.

    This allows the mobile user to move items or License Plate without having to plan it in Business Central first. 

    This functionality supports License Plating and moving physical containers like pallets or boxes with multiple items.

    Note: If License Plating is not enabled, you will have to use the regular Unplanned Move

    Functionality

    This function can move

    between both Bins and License Plates.

    Overview

    Move License Plate to another License Plate/Bin

    Step 1 - Select “Unplanned Move Advanced”

    The “Unplanned Move Advanced" function is accessed from the main menu.

     

    Step 2 - Scan the From-Bin/License Plate

    • Scan the License Plate you want to move

     

    Step 3 - Scan the To-Bin/License Plate

    Scan the destination where you are moving the License Plate to:

    • Scan a Bin
      or

    • Scan a License Plate

     

    Step 4 - The move was completed

    The License Plate was successfully put into the Bin.

    You must now physically place the License Plate where it belongs

     

     

     

    Move individual items

    Step 1 - Select “Unplanned Move Advanced”

    The “Unplanned Move Advanced" function is accessed from the main menu.

    Note: You can also move items from License Plates (Contents) from the License Plate Lookup

     

    Step 2 - Select Location and Scan the Item

    1. Select the Location you are moving From

    2. Select the New location you are moving To
      The locations correspond to the locations the user has been set up to use as “Warehouse Employee” in Business Central.
      The Default location is the first entry.

    3. Scan or enter the item number you want to Move
      Alternatively, search using the online search feature

     

    Step 3 - Scan the From-Bin/License Plate

     

    You can either move the item from a Bin or a License Plate.

    • scan a Bin
      or

    • scan a License Plate

     

    Step 4 - Scan or Enter the Quantity

    • Scan or Enter the quantity you are moving

     

    Step 5 - Scan the To-Bin/License Plate

    Create a new License Plate

    Scan the destination where you are moving the Item to:

    • Scan a Bin
      or

    • Scan an existing License Plate
      or

    • Scan a new License Plate (New License will be created)














      Create a new License Plate
      If you scan a new License Plate in the “To Bin / License Plate” step, you will be asked to confirm to create a new one.

     

    Step 6 - The move was completed

    The item was successfully moved.
