They are performed “ad-hoc” by the mobile user.

How “Unit of Measure” is handled by Unplanned Functions
"Unit of Measure" is only collected when needed.
You have two options to avoid registering units:
Scan barcodes associated with “Item Unit of Measures” in "Item References" in Business Central (Recommended)
Enable "Use Base Unit of Measure"-setting in Mobile WMS Setup (9/10).
All registrations are performed in the Items base unit - unless scanned as in the point above
The two options can be combined
