Register directly on Order Lines by scan (SingleScanRegistration)

Description

This feature enables you to scan and complete registrations, directly from Order Lines - without selecting a line first or performing each registration step.

Use case

Using Encoded Barcode (GS1) you can register directly from the Order Lines page.

Requirements

You have to use Encoded Barcode that contains all information needed.

For example:

• Item
• Quantity
• Lot no. (optional)
• Serial no. (optional)

You most likely need to enable Register Quantity By Scan.

This will send a barcodes to the mobile app that represents quantity / units of measure.

Mobile does not complete the registration?

Missing information will prevent you from using this feature.

Commonly missing values are Lot No. and Bin code. 

Solutions

1. Include the value in the barcode
   
   
2. Include the value in in the Order Lines

3. Disable the validation/registration of the value
   See  Order Lines GetOrderLines Response (i.e. RegisterLotNumber etc.)
