The following page will outline the steps needed to move a customer from the "old" print servers to the new print server.
The page has a section for Nav and for Business Central as the steps are different, just go to the section that are relevant for your scenario.
Prerequisites
You have a service desk ticket, in which Tasklet Factory has shared a:
- Login (email)
- A URL for Print
- A password
- A Tenant
Business Central
The process for switching over to the new server is outlined in steps below:
- Make sure you have minimum Mobile WMS extension version 5.37 installed
- Go to Business Central
- Open "Mobile Print Setup"
- Go to field "Connection URL"
- Copy and paste this value
https://cloudprint.taskletfactory.com:8086/ - Select the action "Test Connection" to ensure you have access to the new server
If you see an error about SSL/TLS. Please press the action again
NAV
The process for switching over to the new server is outlined in steps below:
Step 1: Install new objects
- Check you have minimum Mobile WMS objects version 4.53.1 or 4.60 installed
- If you have version 4.53.1
- Install 4.53.2
- Run object Codeunit 6181390 Upgrade 4.53.2
- If you have version 4.60
- Install 4.60.1
- Run object Codeunit 6181390 Upgrade 4.60.1
Step 2: Setup
- Go to NAV
- Open "Mobile Print Setup"
- Go to field "Connection URL"
- Copy and paste this value
https://cloudprint.taskletfactory.com:8086/ - Select the action "Test Connection" to ensure you have access to the new server
If you see an error about SSL/TLS. Please press the action again
Troubleshooting
Problem
Test Connection produces this error "The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel."
Solution
This is a known quirk. You have to press "Test Connection" one more time.
Problem
"A call to System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse failed with this message. The remote server returned an error (404) Not Found."
Solution
You need to run Upgrade Codeunit 6181390
Problem
"A call to System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse failed with this message. The remote server returned an error (400) Bad Request.
Solution
Incorrect Tenant and/or Username and Password
