When you are trying to remote control a device and the device screen is stucked on the Waiting for Screen, see below.

This can be fixed by following the steps below the picture.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Right Click on the device in MobiControl
  2. Select Send → Script
  3. A Script Window will be shown
  5. In the Dropdown choose Option: Waiting for Screen Fix
  6. Click OK
  7. The device will turn black and then re-connect and then you should be able to remote control
