The Location Card

  

The location setup is the cornerstone in how Mobile WMS is used with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Where does this Location setup come from?

Cronus Demo Company

  • Test company data (is shipped with NAV)
    • The Colored Warehouses (Blue, White etc.)

Mobile WMS

  • Mobile WMS "Test Helper" menu, can generate additional Locations
    • WHSEBIN, INVBIN etc.

Cronus Locations 

 

 

Blue

  • You don't use Bins

  • You process orders individually

  • You don't need for Warehouse planning (Pick Worksheet etc.)

  • Receive/Ship directly on Orders documents = No warehouse documents

Documents

  • Sales and Purchase Orders

Posting of Shipment

  • Happens with Shipment function on Mobile Device
    • (No dedicated pick)



Journals

  • Phys. Inventory Journals

 

  • Require Receive

  • Require Shipment
  • Require Put-away

  • Require Pick
  • Bin Mandatory
  • Directed Put-away and Pick

 


Silver

 

  • You use Bins 
  • You dont use warehouse documents (Pick, Receipt etc.)

  • Receive/ship from Orders

    • You process orders individually
