Problem
My scanner cannot scan a GS1-128 datamatrix Datamatrix barcode, ; all other barcodes work as intended.
This issue typically applies to Zebra devices, but Newland devices must be explicitly set up for it.
Solution for Zebra devices:
- Unlock the device: I want to unlock a device
- Launch DataWedge.
- Select the Target Profile MobileWMS.
- Under Barcode input, select Configure scanner settings.
- Select Decoders.
- Enable GS1 Datamatrix.
- Test again.
Solution for Newland devices:
- Scan the barcode found here.
If this does not solve the problem then , Raise a Service Desk Ticket or update your existing one.
