Mobile WMS is enriched with lots of features resulting in many menus on the main page. To keep the look and feel of Mobile WMS as a simple and easy solution for your mobile warehouse requirements, we have built groupings to arrange menus from the main menu to sub menus. This ensures that your main menu is nice and tidy.
Sub menus results in an extra click for the user, so it is up to you to put the most commonly used icons on the main menu to reduce number of clicks.
Out of the box we have these sub menus:
- Inbound Functions
- Warehouse Functions
- Production Functions
- Manufacturing Execution
- Outbound Functions
- Miscellaneous Functions
Main Menu
Here is an example on below image, which shows 5 different sub menus.
Basically you can fit most used menus on the main menu and other menus under the sub menus. This will improve the user friendliness of Mobile WMS.
Groupings
Below you can find examples of groupings of menus. If these predefined groupings are not suitable to your business processes, then it is simple to create new groupings and populate them. See here: Menu - Customize Your Groupings

New groups must have alphanumeric characters without spaces. When you want to name your new group you can combine this with translation to get exact the wording you need. |
1) First create a new group, e.g. "MyNewGroup"
2) Navigate back
When you are navigated to the page "Menu" and have refreshed it, the new group appear.
Add the menu to the correct user group and correct groupings menu. In the example above user group "Mob-User" has been selected and we add the new group to the main menu.
3) Translation
Navigate to Mobile WMS/Setup/Configuration/Translations.
4) Login on your mobile device
After login is completed the new menu with the new name is loaded.
