The most common device movement is between the Test and Production folders. Moving a device to a folder will install that folder's specific configuration on the device being moved.
How to move a device between folders
- Expand the folder structure if you haven't already:
- Locate the device(s) you want to move and select them by clicking the dot to the left of the device name. You can select multiple devices to move all in one go.
In this example, the device is already in the Production folder.
- Left-click and hold on the whitespace area on the device information. Drag and drop the device(s) to the folder of choice.
In this example, the device is being moved from Production to Test.
- If you see a popup message asking if you want to move the device(s), press "Move".
- The devices are now moved and will install the corresponding configuration files automatically.
The device(s) will reboot, and then the installation will be done.
