Create Missing Languages

Problem

The system assumes the BC Langauge table is populated during installation and upgrade,

This is not always the case.

Solution

All companies must have the following languages present in the "Languages" table:

• FIN
• FRA
• HRV
• ITA
• LTH
• LVI
• NLD
• NOR
• PLK
• PTG
• ROM
• RUS
• SLV
• SVE

You can create these values manually or copy and paste from one company to another.

Solution A: Copy from another existing company

The quickest solution is to copy from an existing Business Central company with a full list of languages.

1. Open the other company in a new browser tab
2. Go to: "Languages" page.
3. Press CTRL+A to select all languages and CTRL+C to copy
4. Go to the company that is missing languages
5. Go to: "Languages" page.
6. Press CTRL+V to paste

Solution B: Copy from table below using Excel

1. Copy the table below to Microsoft Excel
2. Copy the rows from Microsoft Excel
3. Go to: "Languages" page
4. Paste the values from Microsoft Excel
