In this video, you will be introduced to modifying the design of a label-template, using the designer. We will make a simple change to a copy of a default template. You can always access the designer directly (Show URL: https://cloudprint.taskletfactory.com:8086/ (Newer) or https://taskletfactory.interform400.com:8086/ (Legacy)) <SHOW LINKS > or but an easier way is to use the action "Open in Designer" on the page "Label-Templates" I work on this template Item Label 2x1 DEMO - <SHOW ACTION> The credentials are the same as used on the Mobile Print Setup. You can reset the password if you forget it, but make sure to update the Mobile Print Setup then. <SHOW "HELP" action on login screen to reset> Raise an issue on the service desk if you cannot gain access If you have access to multiple tenants, select the correct one. <LOG IN - SHOW DESIGNER> The system comes with a Help Manual, please study this when you are new to the designer or stuck with a specific issue. <SHOW NAVIGATION TO MANUAL, from designer> For example "Designer" and watch "Short introduction to the designer" Or "Design Tips": Fixed vs. Dynamic positions You basically work with two entities. From "Library" you can access both. Sample data for each Default Template can be found in the Library. Documents, Template name <SHOW NAVIGATION AND DATA for Item Label> But the best data to work with, is of course, real, live data from your system. The last request is saved as a file in the folder "LoggedFiles" with Template Name and Printer Name. <SHOW NAVIGATION to LoggedFiles> Templates are found here. <SHOW NAVIGATION to Template> Here is the template we are working on <OPEN TEMPLATE> Using the "Sample Data" pane, you can view and load the data used when designing. This is default sample data. When a label has been printed you can use actual data. Selecting the Gear > Add Sample Data File > Logged Files and selecting the latest file, we can use the actual customer data. <SHOW IT> To view the final result, use the "PDF Preview" action. <SHOW IT> You can select a element using the "Layout" pane or select it directly. To Change properties, Right click on the element or Double Click it. Let apply some top margin to this element to move it down and push everything else down aswell. Changes can be inspected using the Undo/Redo functions. Use PDF Preview to view the final result When satisfied, select Save. You can now use Mobile to print the label.
