Excess Materials
In standard D365FO manufacturing execution terminal you can register excess material usage. We have a similar function located on a button "Material consumption".
When you have selected a job and click the button "Material consumption", you begin registering your consumption.
After all steps are completed a picking list journal is created and posted. A notification is shown on the mobile device, to indicate that is has been successful.
In D365FO you can find the posted journal by navigating to the production order and picking list. We have noted on the description of the journal that it is additional materials that has been picking from the mobile device.
