Mobile WMS Parameters
Here you setup the kind of documents you want to be available on the mobile device.
The parameters are segregated into relevant sections. General, Pick, Receive, documents and finally a warehouse specific setup.
Below you find a description of these sections.
General
Here are the specific journals setup.
Pick
Different document types that should be shown on the mobile device.
- Show sales - sales orders incl. item requirements
- Show picking - picking lists from sales orders
- Show production - picking lists from production orders
- Show transfer - transfer orders and transfer journals
- Show return orders - purchase order returns
Cancel Picking Lines
- Update remaining quantity: Removes canceled quantity from sales or transfer order upon updating from mobile device.
When this is tick marked (Yes), and you choose to cancel X quantity on a line, then your line on the mobile device is reduced by X and your remaining quantity on the sales order is also reduced.
Pick for Production
- Underdelivery validation - None / Warn / Block
- Overdelivery - None / Warn / Block (Warning does the same as None, the overdelivery is accepted.)
When you pick for a production order, you can set the over/underdelivery parameter to control whether picking should be validated and allowed to be over- and underdelivered.
Validation
You can choose to setup validation during picking. It can be important to validate one or more of the steps when you pick an item. E.g. you are going to pick an item, that is batch number controlled, and you want to validate that the batch number is correct immediately when you scan the batch number. If you wait until posting to receive the feedback, you will get an error and you need to figure out what the correct batch number is.
Receive
- Show purchase - purchase orders
- Show transfer - transfer order and transfer journals
- Show arrival - arrival journals
- Show production input - production input journals
- Show return orders - RMA return orders

Warehouse Setup
All the above parameters are global parameters. If you need to differentiate picking and receiving paramters per warehouse, you would make the override default and successive set the parameter that fits the warehouse.
