Count

Applicable to all versions of Mobile WMS

In the following sections is an overview of the counting registration flows in Dynamics AX/365FO, and a brief description of how these relate to mobile functionality.

Planned

The Mobile WMS solution can be used to register counting activities planned in Dynamics AX/365FO. The basic idea is that a standard counting journal is created in Dynamics AX/365FO and the counted value is registered on a mobile device. Counting journals are not posted automatically from the mobile device. The warehouse manager will go through the journal and verify the counted values before the journal is posted.

Unplanned

When unplanned counting are needed you have the options to use unplanned tag counting journals for multiple lines or if you just have to make a count on a single item, you can use the unplanned count menu.
