Location Content
In Dynamics AX/365FO you can easily find the items in a location by looking up the on-hand quantities for a specific location.
Placement and usage of the Location Content function on the mobile device.
How to use Location Content:
- Select “Location Content” from the Main Menu on the mobile device.
- You select the appropriate warehouse and scans/types the location.
- The mobile device contacts Dynamics AX/365FO to determine which items are located here using the on-hand quantity, and returns a list for the user.
Omit Dimensions from lookup
Available in Mobile WMS for Dynamics AX/365FO version 3.15.2 or newer
You can setup specific dimensions to be omittied from the aggregated inventory lookup. E.g. your inventory lookup of an item with serial numbers, can be simplified by omitting the serial dimension.

Wildcard in the lookup
Available from Version 3.6 of Mobile WMS for Dynamics AX/365FO
As of version 3.6 of the Mobile WMS for Dynamics AX/365FO it is possible to use a wildcard character (*) in the lookup of item and location.

Refreshes data from Dynamics AX/365FO.
Unplanned move
You can make an unplanned move based on the selected values from the list. However, you will go through the standard workflow when moving an item.
Create quarantine order
You will be able to create a quarantine order based on the selected values from the list. This enables you to do operations faster when having the mobile device.
Once you start creating a new quarantine order all the known information from the located item, such as warehouse placement and product dimensions (Color, size etc.) are transferred automatically.
