Picking, Packing and Shipping - Different Ways of Picking

Available in Mobile WMS from version 3.12 for Dynamics AX/365FO


There are different ways of picking when using Mobile WMS. 

  • Regular - no staging and shipping
  • Picking and Shipping
  • Picking, Staging and Shipping
  • Picking, Packing and Shipping
  • Picking, Packing, Staging and Shipping


Packing Station

If your Mobile WMS Cart function to pick items, your items will be delivered to a packing station for the item to be staged. 


The process is started by attaching a picking list to a cart. 

  • You can open Mobile WMS picking menu, select a picking route or a BOM picking list and click on the menu to attach it to an empty cart
  • You can open an empty cart and scan a picking list or a BOM picking list to attach it to the cart


Once the attachment has been done, then you begin to load items onto the cart. 

After completed loading of items to the cart, you click on the menu to unload items to a packing station. 

Once the items are in the packing station you begin to scan items into outbound license plates.
