Problem
You have trouble connecting the mobile device to MobiControl or ERP.
Solution
NAV/365BC - Connection to ERP-system
- The port number used by SOAP Web Service of the NAV server tier, should be open for the network used by the scanner.
This is the only requirement
MobiControl - For Remote control
WiFi Internet connection
Test: Are you able to open a website using the browser on the scanner?
Not a 100% guarantee as port 80/Internet may be blocked
Firewall
Port TCP 5494 must be open for outbound connection (IP address: 40.68.196.181).
Date/time
As the connection is HTTPS, a certificate is in play. The date on mobile device must not be to far off the current date - or else the HTTPS connection will not be allowed.
If the above is OK, then the mobile device should be able to connect to MobiControl.
