What is a collector step

A step to collect a data value.

Typically displayed after an entry has been selected like an Order line.

What is a "Workflow"

A set of Collector Steps

  • Functions like Receive,Pick,Move etc. all use the "Standard" workflow.
  • "Planned Count" has a unique workflow.

Additional steps can be added from the Backend.

When are workflows used?

For Planned functions like Receive, Pick etc.

On the other hand, Ad-hoc functions like Unplanend Move and Unplanned Count instead use steps defined in the Backend

The "Standard" Planned workflow,

has the following steps:

  • From-Bin (AI 00)

  • To-Bin (AI 00)

  • Expiration Date (AI 12,15,17)

  • Lot Number (AI 10)

  • Tote ID

  • Serial Number (AI 21)

  • Quantity (AI 30,37)

Note: The numbers in "()" are Barcode AI's.

The "countWorkflow" Planned workflow,

Has same steps as "Standard" planned workflow (above), but allows for Quantity to be zero (during counting an item may be no longer on inventory).
