After selecting the production jobs menu you get the list of jobs.
Select the production job you want to use by scanning or clicking on it. This opens the dialogue to start the job. Once the job has been started, the list of activities is updated, where you can find the started activity at the top with an icon to easy identify the change.
A dialogue opens to enter how many you want to start. After the job has been started, the list of jobs is updated and the started job is moved to the top of the list. You can identify the job by the started icon, the status has been changed to "In progress" and the users name is also shown.

Please note that if you has started a production job and want to change to a another project job or indirect activity, then you have to report and stop the production jobs first. |
Excess Materials
In standard D365FO manufacturing execution terminal you can register excess material usage. We have a similar function located on a button "Material consumption".
When you have selected a job and click the button "Material consumption", you begin registering your consumption.
After all steps are completed a picking list journal is created and posted. A notification is shown on the mobile device, to indicate that is has been successful.
In D365FO you can find the posted journal by navigating to the production order and picking list. We have noted on the description of the journal that it is additional materials that has been picking from the mobile device.
If you don't want the journal to be posted, but just create the journal for someone to manage the excess material consumption you can switch of the posting. Navigate to Mobile WMS/Setup/Parameters/Documents and find the Material consumption document. See below image.

Change Ressource
When you want to change ressource you simply click on the button "Ressource" and a dialogue opens.

We do not have a selection of ressource groups, but the list of ressources in stead. To make if faster to find the correct ressource you just key in the search field a few numbers related to the ressource you want to change to.
Once the ressource have been changed your list of jobs is updated. You can always find the number of the current ressource by having a look at the ressource button. In the screenshot it is shown that ressource "1221" is chosen.
