This feature enables you to scan and complete registrations, directly from Order Lines - without selecting a line first or performing each registration step. |
Use case
Using Encoded Barcode (GS1) you can register directly from the Order Lines page.
Requirements
You have to use Encoded Barcode that contains all information needed.
For example:
- Item
- Quantity
- Bin (optional)
- Lot no. (optional)
- Serial no. (optional)
You most likely need to enable Register Quantity By Scan.
This will send a barcodes to the mobile app that represents quantity / units of measure.
Lot No. and Bin considerations
Registering Lot No. og validating Bin canMobile does not complete the registration?
Missing information will prevent you from using this feature, if these informations are not present .
Commonly missing values are Lot No. and Bin code.
Solutions
- Include the value in the barcode
You need to either
- send all the needed information to the mobile app
- or disable Lot or Bin validation
Example
- Disable ValidateFromBin
- Include LotNumber in the data sent to mobile app
- Include the value in in the Order Lines
