When MobiControl keeps asking asks you to install a plugin, follow this guide to fix the remote control plugin issue.

- Close all sessions of your web browser.
- Open Control-Panel-> Remove/Uninstall Program, and uninstall ALL "SOTI Remote Control Service" item(s) previously installed.
- Then open your web browser, start the web-console and download it. Before reinstalling the plugin, click on

- To reinstall the plugin, start remote controlling a device and make sure to select the "Downloadable Plugin (Legacy)" method.
This will prompt you to download and install the plugin.
- During the installation, click "Advanced":

- Choose "Install for all users of this machine" and continue the installation as usual.

Apparently, every time your server has beenis patched/upgraded, there isa possibility that a new RC plug-in is needednew remote control plugin may be needed, and the problem seems to come back. Just repeat the above procedure to get the latest RC plug-inplugin properly installed, and everything should workswork fine again. |
