Print From Context

When using Mobile WMS and for example you need an extra label, you can print it from the context menu.

We have provided throughout the application that you can select in the context menu's to print labels. When doing so your print is easy as the required data we already know is prefilled.

Here is an example:

You are about to receive an order and from the order line you want to print some extra item labels to stick them on the items you are about to receive.

On the purchase order line you select the item you want to print label for. Then select the context menu and choose print label.

When opening the print label menu, you enter the available labels for that specific context. This means your purchase order line has informations about

  • item number
  • location

so this limits the number of available label designs based on that.

In this example you see the step for choosing a printer. This is due to the label printer setup in Mobile WMS / Print / Label Print Setup.

If you setup your printer hierarchy, so that you only have one printer available, then the workflow only asks for number of copies as the printer is already known. Selecting the printer is unnecessary.

Last step is to enter the number of copies you need.

Now you just get the labels from the printer after it has been processed.
