Mobile WMS Setup
Before the "Pack & Ship" process can be used, the feature must be enabled at the "Mobile WMS Setup" page.
When all setup below is completed, any mobile device should be restarted before attempting to use Pack & Ship.
Tote Picking
"Pack & Ship" requires that Tote Picking is enabled and set up as shown above.
This specific Tote setup is required because the License Plates are created based on the collected Tote ID's:
- "Enable Tote Picking" = True
- "Tote per" = "Whse. Document No.", "Source No." or "Destination No."
There are 3 different ways of collecting the Tote ID's during the Pick process:
Tote Per – setting | Effect | Supported in "Pack & Ship" |
Destination No. | Tote ID's per Recipient Customer | True |
Source No. | Tote ID's per Sales Order | True |
Whse. Document No. | Tote ID's per Whse. Shipment doc. | True |

Mobile WMS Package Setup
If there are different requirements for package registration depending on the Shipping Agent, you can set up the required values.
You can specify what fields should be collected and/or specify default values to be used when Registering License Plates during packing.
The Package Types available on the mobile device are determined by selecting "Shipping Agent" when Registering Shipment Information.
Fields:
- Package Type
- Weight
- Length
- Height
- Width
- Loading Meter (LDM)
Note:
- If no entries exist in "Mobile WMS Package Setup", the solution can be used without the need to register specific package information.
The License Plates will still be handled and marked as "handled by shipping". - Mobile users must log out/in after changing this setup
Mobile WMS Packing Stations (optional)
If using Packing Stations is enabled in the Mobile WMS Setup and at least one Packing Station exists, the user can choose Packing Station from the mobile device during the picking and packing processes.
You can set up the different Packing Stations to be used as staging information on the Warehouse Shipment and License plates.
Only Packing Stations with <blank> or the same Location code as the current Warehouse Document can be selected on the mobile device.
You can also use the "Synchronize Packing Station" to get any data specified from a "Shipping Provider Connector".
Note:
- If you insert a <blank> Code a unique value will be applied in the Code field
License Plate Labels Setup (Printer per Packing Station)

License Plate ID´s can be assigned automatically to license plate labels, using a Number Series on the label-template.
To activate this, you must "Number Series" field on the "License Plate" label-template.
Set up printer for a specific combination of label-template and Packing Station
If you have multiple label printers and want to suggest a specific printer for a Packing Station, you can do this from the Packing Station list page:
Use the "Printer Label Template Setup"- action to specify the printer you want to use for label-template and Packing Stations.
In this example we have set up the printer named "3x2 Print (Pack 1)" to be suggested as default printer for label-template "License Plate 3x2" and Packing Station "PACK 1".
This setup will result in the following default printer suggestion, but you can manually choose another printer.
This setup will result in the following
If you need to share a printer between some Packing Stations (but not all), you will need to make a copy of the Printer name for the extra Packing Station.

It is possible to enable the automatic print of a Delivery Note in the Pack & Ship process to be placed into the package before shipping.
See : Print Shipment on Post
Shipping Label Setup
This feature requires shipping provider integration.
It is possible to print the shipping label directly from the device in the pack and ship process, but this requires setting up the provider connector printing setup, which differs from provider to provider.
