Printer Hierarchy Setup
You can setup each printer to be available in a specific location, warehouse or even on a site level.
This gives you flexibility to make printers available only to the relevant areas (storage dimensions) in your warehouse.
1 printer in 2 warehouses
If a printer should be available in two or more warehouses, you have to make a setup per dimension. E.g. warehouse 22 and warehouse 24 as shown below here.
You can also rename the printer to a more saying e.g. "22_Mobile printer" and "24_Mobile printer".
Connectivity
The printer is either connected via Ethernet, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to the printer.
- Ethernet - IP address
- Wi-Fi - IP address
- Bluetooth - MAC address
When you use a Bluetooth printer, you specify this on the printer setup by entering the MAC address of the printer into the field 'Destination'. This ensures that the communication of label print goes via the mobile device and not via the wired/Wi-Fi network to the printer.
DPI
203 DPI is standard for labels, but should you have requirements for higher DPI you can select the 300 DPI value. This gives you more than double up on pixels on your label.
Designs per Printer
Select a printer and click on the tab "Designs" to assign one or more designs.
