Printing technology

The Mobile WMS will print using standard Business Central report features and includes a number of Standard Label Reports for typical WMS work processes.

Choosing a printer connector

A printer connector is required to print from Mobile WMS using Report Print.

Tasklet Printnode connector

We recommend starting with our built-in Tasklet PrintNode connector, as it is continually tested and supported by us:

• PrintNode has associated fees

• You need to create an account at www.printnode.com

• PrintNode is an third-party service and not affiliated with Tasklet Factory in any way

Alternative printer connectors

Any printer connector that adds printers to the "Printer Management" are expected to work with Report Print, for example:

• Universal Print from Microsoft link

  • Important: Limited support for label. Link (July 2023)

• Email Print from Microsoft link

• Any third-party printer connector made for Business Central link

A printer must be able to print without "user interaction". This disqualifies many PDF printers as they typically require providing a file name before saving the file.

To verify you have a valid printer you must be able to print e.g. a Customer Top 10 report from the WebClient without having to preview the result first.
