Data Sources
Available in Mobile WMS for Dynamics AX/365FO version 3.14
Based on the selected page we find the related data sources.
A page can have multiple data sources, e.g. picking orders can be transfer order picking and sales order picking but having two different data sources.
From each data source you can specify individual settings, to represent the data in a relevant way, rather than having a common denominator.
Important information
Data sources will become available once the mobile device has retrieved a list of orders or lines.
The reason for this hen or egg situation, is to reduce time consumption during setup, by only setting up data sources that are active. If all data sources were populated out of the box, it would require setup of all data sources even if some data sources are not used.
Sorting
When you want to do sorting on the mobile device, these rules apply:
- Sort field - all data sources MUST be setup with a field value that is comparable between data sources. We can not sort between date's in one data source and Id's on another.
- Sorting direction - this field applies for all data sources

Filter and Data Binding
When you add a filter value, your data binding is easily setup on the first data source. If you have multiple data sources you must manually add the extra data bindings for each data source. If can be done form the data sources node. It is not required to change between data sources.
