Missing Permissions
Problem
After Mobile WMS is installed, I get a Missing Permissions message:
Sometimes, the error message says "Incompatible Device," but the solution is the same.
Solution
Unlock the device: I want to unlock a device
Open Settings, find Apps & Notifications, and choose Tasklet Mobile WMS
Open Permissions:
Make sure that all permissions are allowed:
Scroll down to be certain that all permissions have been set.Reopen the Mobile WMS app. The error message should now have disappeared.
Why do I need to set these permissions?
Mobile WMS is an app installed on the Android operating system that your device is running. Like the apps on your smartphone, Mobile WMS requires specific permissions to work as intended.
The Mobile WMS app will display the error shown above if the correct permissions have not been set correctly. We do this to make sure the Mobile WMS app works as intended.
In newer versions of Android, app permissions are often disabled by default for security concerns. The intention is to allow the user to toggle the permissions, rather than enabling them by default. This helps support user privacy and is a security feature.
