Item Requirement in Projects
Applies to Mobile WMS setup: Pick / “Show transfer”
The Mobile WMS application can be used to register picking on item requirements.
From a project you can create requirements for items. These item requirements automatically create a sales order and the special detail here is that the sales order type is called "Item requirements" and this is now available in Mobile WMS.
Asset Management
When picking has origin from asset management you still can use Mobile WMS to pick from either the sales order or the picking list.
Picking directly on a sales order
Just like a standard sales order picking you can pick directly on a sales order or use a picking list to conduct picking on.
After picking is completed on a sales order, then the posting from Mobile WMS will register your registrations and packing slip update the sales order based on these registrations.
Picking using a picking list
If you are using picking lists, then posting from Mobile WMS will complete the picking list registration.
In Mobile WMS
When an item requirement has been created, and if your picking parameter is set to "Show Sales" it is available on the mobile device. See more about Mobile WMS parameter setup here: Mobile WMS Parameters (AX/FO)
Picking on sales order
Once the list of order is presented on the mobile device, you can see if the sales order is linked to a project and has the order type "Item requirements". Below is highlighted project ID and Order type.
When you have selected the order and open the order lines then in top of the screen on the mobile device you can see the project ID.
The picking is identical with a typical sales order line picking.
Pick on picking lists
When operating on picking lists you can also see the order type "Item requirements".
The picking is identical with a typical picking list picking. You enter the registration workflow for each item and when you are finished you post the picking list.
The picking list is updated based on the registrations and will be completed.
