Transfer Journal - Create From Mobile Device

How it works when you create a transfer journal 

Available in Mobile WMS for Dynamics AX/365FO version 3.15.3 or newer.

Transfer journals are used for adhoc registrations that are posted as soon as you have registered. But now you can create a transfer journal and add lines to it without posting it. 

Click create journal and enter a description.

After you have submitted, navigate back to see the new journal.

Click on the journal to enter lines and click the button 'Add line'. 

Select From and To Warehouse. 

When you scan or enter the item, you will receive a workflow depending on the item setup. Below example is batch number controlled and the steps required is compressed into this single image. 

First step is from location and last step is to location.  

Result is shown below. You can see the details of the line, i.e. From Warehouse and From Location, and To Warehouse and To location. 

Having a look at the transactions of the line, we can see journal number and each transaction for issue and receipt. 

Delete line

Click the button 'Delete line' to remove it. 

License Plate support

When you want to add line to the journal you can instead of scanning an item, simply just scan a license plate id to add this to the journal.

If the license plate contains multiple items, all the items will be added to the journal.
