Description
The Mobile WMS app allows the user to associate a barcode with an item using the mobile device.
This can be helpful if the items in Business Central have not been set up with information about the barcodes.
Item Cross Reference
- The feature is activated by selecting the "Item Cross Reference" menu item on the main menu.
- Scan or enter the item number
Alternatively, search for the item number using the online search function
- Scan the barcode to associate with this item
- Select a Unit of Measure
Note:
- The items base unit is selected as the default value
- Item Cross Reference must always have a unit of measure, even with the "Use Base Unit of Measure"-setting enabled
Post the registration to associate the barcode with the item. The barcode is now registered as a cross-reference on the item.
