Receive on License Plates

When your items are setup to use license plates, you will need to specify the license plate during the receiving process.

Stepping into the receiving process we can see below the two lines on a purchase order. Both items are license plate controlled. 

When selecting the first line we enter the workflow of receiving. Here we can see the first step is to scan the license plate. 

Above the license plate has been scanned.

We enter the quantity.

Then we make registrations for the second line. 

We scan the same license plate as we have used on the first line. 

We enter the quantity.

Once we have posted, we can see the transactions in Dynamics AX/365FO. For example we navigate the 'Warehouse Management/Setup/Warehouse/License Plates'.

Locate the license plate and take a look at the transactions here.

Here we can see that the location the license plate is placed into is the default location of the warehouse.
