Negative Adjustment
In Dynamics AX/365FO you can remove items from the inventory by using the “Profit/Loss” journal. This function comes to use when you do not make a count but basically have to remove some stock.

First you select the appropriate warehouse and scans / types the barcode of an item.
Then the mobile device contacts Dynamics AX/365FO to determine the information needed to make the registration (depends on the dimension configuration of the item).
After you have entered the requested informations information's for each step in the workflow, e.g. “Location” and “Quantity” and posts the registration, then the mobile device sends the registrations to Dynamics AX/365FO where a “Profit / loss” journal with one line is posted.
