Posting a “Positive Adjustment” using the “Unplanned Count” functionality of Mobile WMS in a “Directed Put-away and Pick” scenario, could cause an inventory and warehouse imbalance. |
The imbalance issue could happen when standard NAV/BC was upgraded to a more recent version, but Mobile WMS was still running an older version. The issue was solved in Mobile WMS 4.03 for NAV (in documentation also referred to as version "4.30")

- Mobile WMS 4.02 for NAV (or older) – in documentation also referred to as version "4.20"
- Mobile WMS 4.34 for BC (or older)
and: - NAV 2017 CU26 or higher
- NAV 2018 CU13 or higher
- Business Central On-Prem CU03 or higher
- Business Central Online

- Location is setup with ”Directed Put-away and Pick” = Yes
- Mobile WMS Setup is setup with “Skip Whse. Unpl. Count Item Journal Post” = No
How to download:
If you suspect the imbalance issue has happened for you on an older Mobile WMS version (prior to upgrading to a working version) you can still download and access the hotfix, including the investigation/correction report that was a part of the hotfix.
The hotfix is no a part of most recent Mobile WMS for NAV releases (as the neccessary changes to solve the issue is now included), but the legacy hofix can be downloaded from in the "Previous Versions" section, where it is included in the Mobile WMS "MOB4.3" for NAV zip.file:
