Problem
This behavior can be caused by a print dialog, i.e. Save-as PDF, when attempting to print a Report from mobile, on an On-Prem installation.
Background
When a dialog like this is triggered, the WebService handling SOAP communication from Mobile, will hang without any error message.
Solution
Does the operation performed from Mobile, entail printing a document?
If so: Make sure

Check the Windows "Event log" for errors with the correct error description.
Thing to check and correct
- Does the NAV/BC "Printer Selection" points to the correct printer?
- Does the Service Tier User , account has that printer installed in Windows "Printers"?
- Log into the server with the Service Tier user and install the that printer
- Make sure Is the Default Printer on the server is NOT a PDF-printer or similar. Must be a real printer. ?
- The printer must not display and dialogs like Save-As
