If Bins and Item Tracking is used in combination, then Warehouse Tracking is required for this function
If item tracking (Serial/Lot) is used in combination with bins, it is required that Warehouse Tracking is must be enabled on the Item Tracking codeCode - The reason is if warehouse tracking is disabled, then "Item Ledger Entry" holds the Item Tracking information, however, this is not registered per bin on "Warehouse Entries", making it impossible to calculate the tracking lines for the journal lines
The alternative is that unexpectedly tracked items must be added through the Journal by the warehouse managerIf Bins is not used in combination with Item Tracking, then Specific Tracking must be enabled on the Item Tracking Code - The reason is if only tracking is registered on some "Item Ledger Entries", it is NOT possible to calculate the expected tracking lines for the journal lines
If the Tracking is not set up as above, tracking will not be required when counting on the Mobile Device. |
