Upgrade Cloud using AppSource
We release new versions as often as once every month.
Updating between "major" versions are voluntary
Every 6-month Microsoft will release a major version Business Centra, also know as "Spring" (March) and "Fall" (October).
You must choose to upgrade in between major
Updating on "major" version is triggered automatically
When your Business Central tenant is upgraded to a new major version, you will also get the newest version of Mobile WMS.
How to upgrade to newest version of Mobile WMS extension
- Log into Business Central
- Go to "Admin Center" by selection the "Gear" icon in upper right hand corner
- Select "Environment" and "Apps"
- You will now see a list of apps and the option to upgrade if a newer version is available.

Step 1 - Download the On-Prem extension
- Go to https://university.taskletfactory.com
- Navigate to "Download" > "Guides & Objects – Dynamics 365 Business Central"
- Select platform depending on your BC version and download the latest On-Prem App.
- Unzip and place the .app file on the server at "C:\Temp".
Step 2 - Run PowerShell Commands
Using Business Central Administration Shell, run the following commands.
In this example:
- Server instance is: MicrosoftDynamicsNavServer$BC
- App file path is: C:\Temp\Tasklet Factory_Mobile WMS_5.xxx.xxx.xxx.app
Please update the values to match your installation

Step 3:
Select "Setup & Extensions" > "Extensions". Confirm that the Status is "Installed"
You will see this image
