The expression editor is available in various places in Mobile WMS such as "Display Override", "Post Flow Editor" and "Label Setup", |
The editor is helpful to ensure you get the expression right. Simply follow the guide in the expression editor where you choose a command and set your prefix and postfix.
When you click on the arrow (marked in yellow in above image), the expression editor opens.
You have 3 fields to create your expression. A pre- and postfix and the command.
For each command you will find a help text.
How to use the expression editor
Once the editor is opened, you setup the pre- and postfix and select the command of your choice.
When finalized remember to click save and close the editor.
When you return to the previous page, the expression editor field is updated with the values you have set from the editor.
See example below.
Again when expression is correctly displayed in the expression field, and you setup the other fields then remember to click save to ensure the expression is saved to the display override.
Commands
None: The command is blank. Useful if you just want a fixed text present on the device.
[value]: Returns the value from the referenced field of your display override line.
ProductAttributes: If you use attributes on your products and you want to display the text or the value of the attribute.
Label: If you want to show a specific label, e.g. @sys1234.
GS1Date: Change date to GS1 barcode format.
CurrentWorker: If you want to show the current workers name.
InventDimStr: Creates a string of the inventdim.
