Unplanned Count
The Mobile WMS application allows you to perform count of a single location in AX/365FO.
- This feature will update the quantity in AX/365FO immediately after posting.
- This feature can be used without creating a counting journal in AX/365FO on beforehand.
- During posting a counting journal with one line is created and posted.

Work process
The mobile device contacts AX/365FO to determine the configuration of the item (storage and tracking dimensions). Based on this configuration the mobile device asks you for these required dimensions.
The on-hand quantity in AX/365FO is now updated.
The journals posted from the mobile device can be found as posted counting journals with the description ”Journal from Mobile WMS”.
