"Mobile Package Types" are not used directly on the mobile device. It depends on the setup in the "Shipping agent" and "Mobile WMS Package Types".
You can also use the 
Synchronize Package Types
"Synchronize Package Types" to action will get any Packages specified from a "Shipping Provider Connector", if used.
